The Yellowstone lacks some of the features found in higher end backpacking tents. The fiberglass poles are heavier and more fragile than aluminum poles. The packaged weight of 10 lb. 5 oz is heavier than most 4-person backpacking tents, but is still within reasonable limits if the load is split between two to four people. There is no vestibule for stowing gear overnight.
