GREAT PACK- I have used this model pack on a 60 mile backpack with my Scout Troop. Very comfortable weight distribution with quality hip belt. I like the various compartments- can get a most things quickly. Pack also works well on overnighters, packs up nicely with light or heavy loads. I have just purchased my 2nd back for my older son who lives in Alaska.

Excellent value for price paid. There are many zippered storage areas on the outside of the pack. Pack fits great, with very little adjusting needed, and very comfortable to wear. Pack has divider separating the sleeping bag from rest of bag which can be unhooked.
Dislikes:
Zippers pull tabs could be a little bigger, otherwise very happy with backpack

The pack is great. I am 6 ft 175, and it molded to my body perfectly. Weight was distributed on my hips well, and there were plenty of pockets. I like the Velcro feature on the side pockets, which makes it easy to carry tent poles. The pack has compression straps which makes it easy to make the pack smaller in width. Overall I am very satisfied with this pack. I researched and tried almost every pack currently made by all brands for the 55- larger internal frame packs, and this one was by far my favorite.
Dislikes:
There were a few things that were missing from the pack. I would have liked to have D rings on the front shoulder straps to hang things from. Also a few more daisy chains would have been nice as well as a hook to hang the Camelbak from inside the pack.

Great quality material, large size with a lot of pockets and room to store equipment. Fairly light-weight pack (unpacked) and is hydration ready for a water bladder. Has plenty of straps and ties to store extra equipment outside the bag and the shoulder straps and back are padded and cushioned extremely well. Also has a good adjustable range of torso sizes.
Dislikes:
The internal frame bars don't come out of the pack very easily and can't bend to conform better to your back without serious manipulation and probably would void the packs warranty.

Great pack! This is my first pack and I love it. Already taken it out on the trails. Has tons of room for anything you could wish to carry. Fits great on bigger framed people. Many entry points. Got a few compliments on it on the trail actually.

Haven't had any misfortunes yet. Very happy with my choice in the Kelty.

Very versatile and functional - great combination of pockets and compartments. Love the front access in addition to top access. Kelty lifetime warranty.
Dislikes:
Wish the bottom sleeping bag compartment was separated from the upper compartment with a zipper. Also wish zippers had metal pulls and not cord pulls.

I really like the open space in the lower back area so you don't get as sweaty as other internal frame packs. Also, I like the overall construction and pockets for organizing small stuff.
Dislikes:
It is a little on the heavy side.

Easy to adjust and very comfortable. Main compartment access from top or front made finding and retrieving stuff very easy. Convenient gear pockets on the waist belt are an indication of how well thought out the design of this pack is. I prefer the pocket design on the 2009 vs. 2008 versions of this model. Excellent value for the money.
Dislikes:
Top lid converts to a fanny pack, but this requires actually unthreading a couple of straps on the pack. Would have made more sense to have disconnect buckles. I might buy some buckles and convert the pack myself just to be able to use the fanny pack feature.

Nice and big. Lots of pockets and plenty of straps to compress as necessary.
Dislikes:
The top compartment is kind of weird with a pouch accessible from the "front" with a larger pouch accessible from the back right behind your head. Would have much prefered just one large area, but not a big deal.
