Likes: This covered my Kelty Coyote 80 just fine, with a closed-cell sleeping pad lashed to the back of my pack. We hiked 2 hours in a downpour, mixed with dime-sized hail. The suspension system on my pack got a little wet from water getting between my back and the pack, but everything inside was dry as a bone. The cover was super easy to put on - I had it out of its storage pocket and on my pack in half a minute.
Dislikes: Nothing.

Likes: Got the chance to use it during some long light rain fall (nearly 7 hours of constant rainfall). It worked very well, the areas of my pack that it covered were dry and never saw an ounce of rain.
Dislikes: Only gripe about this product is the fitting, if you carry anything on the outside of the back it will leave an area exposed. I tried different types of equipment being hung on the outside of my pack and there was always an area exposed. Moving forward with this raincover, I will need to make sure I fit everything inside my pack. If you are able to pack everything inside your pack, this will do the job nicely.

Likes: This cover easily fits over my Kelty Coyote backpack and works well to keep the rain out.

10/26/2011
Likes: I ordered 2 of these raincovers - 1 for an internal 78 liter pack and 1 for an external 65 liter pack. The covers fit both of these packs to perfection (especially the external) and kept everything completely dry. This is in spite of hiking for 5 hours in a steady rain through Utah's Uintah range. Finally, you absolutely can't beat Kelty's quality or BE's price on these covers!
Dislikes: They are a little bulky and a bit on the heavy side for ultralighters. Otherwise, there's nothing to dislike!

Likes: Rain cover is small and compact. It has its own built in (attached) mesh stuff sack. It’s easy to throw in the pack and forget about, but wonderful to have when you have significant rain / snow on your hike. I used the large raincover with my Kelty Tioga 5500 and it fits like a glove. Cover has straps with button snaps to secure to your pack. Can be deployed without straps, but is less secure. My cover was more a dark grey / green color. It’s made of a light reinforced nylon that is indeed waterproof, kept my pack contents dry in a downpour.
Dislikes: If you expect a significant amount of precipitation, I would consider putting the rain cover on before you start your hike. If you are alone and you need to deploy it mid-hike, you will need to take your pack off to put on the cover. It can be quite the task when you are packing 60+ pounds of gear. Also keep in mind, the down side of the rain cover is you lose access to all the external pockets. Plan accordingly . Product is a little pricy, there might be more affordable options out there.

Likes: I like how well this raincover goes onto my pack. Cinches down tight, and is durable. Keeps my pack dry and works well with my Kelty Trekker 3900. When you're done using the raincover, it packs back into itself using the attatched pouch. Very cool product, a must if you have a Kelty pack.
