A simple lightweight 2-person tent for all seasons, featuring doors on each side with matching 17.1 sq. ft vestibules. The Quartz 2 comes with Kelty's patented FlyBoy anchoring system, which consists of a patch permanently affixed to the fly and a plastic clip that clamps the body, poles, and fly together into a single, unitized self-reinforcing structure (no more reaching up under the fly to attach velcro straps). Flyboy also accepts guylines to create a stronger and more stable structure.

Also features Kelty Webforce™. The "trusses" at each pole sleeve intersection guide the pole through the intersection, easing set up, and eliminating any independent movement of the poles, strengthening the structure. The "tendons" on the fly, which lock stakeout points to FlyBoys, prevent any stretch or movement under even the heaviest winds.

Comes with DAC Pressfit poles. By using very tight tolerances, DAC is able to avoid gluing or crimping, which can result in failure or corrosion over time. The result is a strong, long-lasting pole.

Also features Kelty's ArcEdge™ floor which lifts floor construction seams off the ground to prevent water leakage.
