The custom-fit Kelty Palisade 6 Footprint protects the floor of your Palisade 6 tent from snow, mud, ground water and sharp objects like rocks, exposed roots and pine needles.
Note: The dimensions of the footprint are intentionally shorter than those of the tent floor to ensure that precipitation and moisture aren't being funneled underneath the tent.

Likes: Rip-stop (even on rocky surface) and water proof (tested in rain prior to trip and kept water under and not between it and tent)
Dislikes: Does not extend under screen porch area of the fly so water can flow to this area and dirt gets tracked into tent.

Likes: If you buy the Kelty Palisade tent this is a must. If you are going to spend that much on a tent you might as well protect your investment.
Dislikes: None.

Nikwax TX-Direct Spray-On restores water-repellent finishes to all waterproof/breathable laminates and coatings. Not for machine washing, it is ideal for garments with knitted wicking linings, single wall tents, bivy sacks and synthetic sleeping bags.
