The Kelty Mantra series was designed for luxury camping. The Mantra 7 tent is easy to set up and features twin front doors and a huge 38.6 sq ft vestibule.
With the removable privacy curtain, the Mantra 7 can be divided into 2 rooms, providing a welcome measure of privacy for changing cloths or sleeping.
The Mantra 7 is easy to set up with color coded clips to quickly attach the tent body to the poles, and sleeves to guide the poles into proper placement. The DAC DA17 poles are made of aluminum and are pre-bent for fast set up and added strength. Aluminum poles are far superior to cheap fiberglass poles, which are heavier and much more prone to breakage.
The Mantra 7 features twin front doors with noiseless zippers so you don't disturb your companions during those middle of the night exits. Each door exits into the large 38.6 sq ft vestibule that's ideal for stowing extra gear and muddy shoes.
The Mantra 7 offers superior weather protection. The polyester rain fly won't sag in wet weather and provides excellent UV protection in the sun, while the Kelty Arcedge construction lifts the floor seams up off the ground, eliminating these seams as a potential source of leaks.
The Mantra 7 has excellent ventilation thanks to its large mesh panels and fly vents. The fly vents can be opened to help prevent condensation buildup under the tent fly.
The Mantra 7 is roomy inside with a 6 foot center height and a progressive dome shape which makes the walls more vertical. The inside storage pockets are convenient for stowing smaller items.
