New for 2013! An innovative option for 3-season camping, the Kelty Mach 6 tent utilizes inflatable “AirPoles” in place of traditional metal or fiberglass poles. A double-action pump is included to make it quick and easy to erect the Mach 6 and enjoy the tent’s spacious, feature-rich interior.
AirPoles eliminate the cumbersome task of fiddling with multiple and sometimes non-cooperative poles. Integrated valves make it clear where to connect the large volume, double action pump. Within minutes the Mach 6 reaches its full internal height of 76”. Large camping tents often put a lot of strain on tensioned metal or fiberglass poles and the AirPoles provide better longtime durability. Stakes are included to further secure the tent in place.
The Mach 6 provides 98 total square feet of interior space which is divided into two separate sleeping “rooms” at either end of the tent. An enormous vestibule between the two rooms offers 38 square feet of protected storage space that can double as a dining room! Internal storage pockets help to maximize available floor space by providing places to stow gear.
Mesh on the tent body provides great airflow and helps to prevent condensation build-up on the interior of the Mach 6. A PU-coated polyester rainfly provides excellent weather and UV protection and taped seam eliminate potential for leaks
Optional footprints (sold separately) further protect the Kelty Mach 6 against ground water, roots and rocks.
