Product Highlights

While reminiscent, aesthetically, of traditional camp lanterns, the Kelty LumaCamp delivers modern LED brightness and performance. A durable plastic body is reinforced with anodized aluminum ribs. A sturdy based provides freestanding structure and a hook-shaped bail allows the LumaCamp to be easily hung up at your campsite.

With a frosted exterior lens, two Cree LED bulbs provide a vivid 170 Lumens on the maximum setting without causing glare. An integrated Rheostat switch allows you to decide exactly how much brightness you need. Operated by 4 D alkaline batteries (not included), the LumaCamp delivers 17 hours of burn time on its highest setting and 172 hours on the lowest setting.

The weather-resistant Kelty LumaCamp measures 9.8" x 5.1" x 5.1".

    Likes: Sheds a LOT of light compared to other models. HIGHLY durable- you could toss this around camp and it would stay lit and intact. High power lasts several hours. Takes 4 D's so pack extra for long trips.

    Dislikes: The batteries are heavy- if you plan to pack a bit, you'll need spare batteries which are very heavy. It SAYS that there is an option of holding the button in for gradual dimming to desired brightness. I found the high setting, then pressed again and held it in as directed and it only goes to a second level of reduced light- no gradual dimming. Maybe this one is a dud. I'll keep it anyway.

    Likes: First of all live the design of this thing, doesn't get much cooler! Works great, long battery life amazing amount of light!

    Likes: Perfect light for my family camping needs. We use a gas lantern outdoors and this inside the tent and for bathroom needs in the dark. It has been used for only two evenings/night and still has plenty of bright light left. I brought extra batteries but they were not needed. I'd buy this again.
