The Kelty Little Creek Junior 30 Degree is an ideal three-season sleeping bag for kids up to 4'10" tall. With its synthetic fill, the Little Creek Junior 30 Degree is warm and comfortable, and, at only 3 lb., 1 oz., it's lightweight enough for easy transport, carrying and storage.

The shell of the Little Creek Junior 30 Degree is made of durable double rip-stop nylon. Insulation is provided by high-performance synthetic Thermolite HL-H4 and a polyester-cotton liner provides internal comfort. Unlike down fill, Thermolite HL-H4 insulation provides warmth even when wet. This is particularly important if you'll be backpacking or camping in wet climates or in foul weather.

By reducing the space that your body heat needs to keep warm, a tapered mummy design makes the Little Creek Junior 30 Degree more form-fitting and thermally efficient than rectangular sleeping bags. Two-layer offset quilt construction and extra insulation over the chest area help to maintain the Little Creek Junior 30 Degree's temperature rating. An integrated draft tube sewn behind the zipper keeps cold air from reaching the inside of the sleeping bag. The Little Creek Junior 30 Degree's built-in hood closes up around you, helping to trap the body heat that can escape through the top of your head and ensuring a warm and comfortable night of sleep. This snug fit is provided by Kelty's patented FatMan and Ribbon drawcords which allow you to adjust top and lower sections of the hood by feel even when it's dark outside.

The Little Creek Junior 30 Degree can be unzipped for use as a blanket. Additional features include sleeping pad security loops to keep you from rolling off of your pad or mattress while you sleep, a zippered foot vent for balmy days and internal loops for use with a protective Kelty liner (sold separately).

The Little Creek Junior 30 Degree fits to 4'10" and comes with a fleece-lined stuff sack that can be used as a pillow by turning it inside out and stuffing it with clothes.
