Great Price, a solid tent for the money Gives you a little more room if needed. Handy snaps connect the fly.
Very good tent
Dislikes:
Sloping walls cut down on the usable space

I own the Gunnison 2.1 and love it. I needed a larger tent for the two grandkids as the 2.1 is great for one. The Gunnison 4.1 works well for an adult and two kids. I appreciate others concerns about low windows yet when it is hot out one needs the ventilation. I have not had problems with watter splashing into the screen windows. Use a ground cloth or foot print and adjust the rain fly and we had no problems. The clip on tent to pole feature allows the kids to help set up the tent. We used a tent with slid through sleeves in the tent and found set up very difficult. This problem does not exist with the Kelty! I suspect I will pass this tent down to the next generation.
Dislikes:
I like everything about the tent. Mine included a attic or shelf in the tent peg bag. The pegs are not so hot. I use old steel pegs I have used for years. Get the gold pegs or substitute stronger pegs. I do not know why Kelty does not improve the pegs in their quality tent.

The setup is simple. Both poles are attactched making it impossible to lose one of them. All clips are color coded making it nearly impossible to set up incorrectly. Gear loft on the interior is convenient. Mesh walls keep the interior cool in the summer. Rainfly is affecttive and provides nice vestibule space for your pack or boots. Overall a very good tent for the price.
Dislikes:
The stakes bend easily if the ground is hard. A small amount water can splash in the mesh walls during a heavy rainfall if the rainfly is not guyed out properly.

Gunnison 4.1 was priced properly well designed and has had bombproof performance over 7 months of heavy scout use. It's lightweight, easy to set up and has successfully fended off heavy winds and rain with out fail. However, you do need to guy out the fly to avoid having water splatter on lower vent screens.
Dislikes:
the stakes are not strong enough for hard clay and bend too easily. However the upgrade to the gold no bendum stakes was a winner.

Great product for the price, very good amount of floor space relative to weight. Extremely easy set up, impossible to loose the poles or pack them poorly since they are connected. Doors are well designed, easy to open. Has performed almost flawlessly in some hard use thus far.
Dislikes:
The screen windows that are low on the ends of the tent should be abandoned. They leak water that splashes up from the ground in heavy rains. This can usually be avoided by guying out the rain fly properly. As with all Kelty tents, better stakes are needed with this one. Great product all around regardless.

The intelligent design makes this tent easy to set up. Takes about 5 to 7 minutes. The 2 doors make entering and exiting much easier, especially with a full house. Good ventilation with handy storage areas inside the tent. Seems to hold up well in windy and rainy conditions. This is a quality tent. I can't imagine a better tent at this price.
Dislikes:
You need to buy stronger stakes than those provided, if you plan on setting this tent up on hard ground.
