Product Highlights

The Kelty Green River 6 6-Person Family Camping Tent features a screened-in vestibule and over 6 feet of headroom. The Green River's mesh vestibule includes pull-down shades for privacy.

The Green River 6 offers excellent weather protection. The polyester rain fly won't sag in wet weather and provides excellent UV protection in the sun, while the Kelty Arcedge construction lifts the floor seams up off the ground, eliminating these seams as a potential source of leaks.

The Green River 6 is easy to set up with color coded clips to quickly attach the tent body to the poles, and sleeves to guide the poles into proper placement.

The Green River 6 has excellent ventilation thanks to its large mesh panels and fly vents. The fly vents can be opened to help prevent condensation buildup under the tent fly.

Inside, storage pockets built into the side walls help keep your small items organized.

Likes: The tent has been great so far. Plenty of room for me, my husband, and two kids with lots of room left over for clothing and other supplies. Seems to be pretty easy to set up with two people but my husband did set it up once by himself. Not an easy task unless you have a lot of experience with tents. Lucky enough to have missed the rain so far so I can't speak on how well it keeps out the water.

Dislikes: Only complaint so far is that a couple of the couplings on the tent poles fall off. Holds great once the poles are under pressure but is very annoying when trying to set up the tent.

Likes: Excellent tent, kept us dry in two rainstorms, easy setup.

Dislikes: Middle windows in vestibule only had one tie to hold back the windows. Would like to see steel stakes instead of aluminum, bent very easily going into rocky ground.

Likes: This tent was perfect for our fist family camping trip. We were lucky with weather so I can't say much about how it did in the rain but there was a little dripping from the frost above. Still dry. Very Spacious for a family of four. We had two queen air matresses with room for a walk way between matresses and room for the suitcases at the end of the beds. A missed benifit from having the front besides being able to get the dog out of the elements, and other stuff dry, is the bug issue. With keeping the front closed, the bugs that did get in through that only got to that point. I can honestly say there were no bugs in our Sleeping area.

Dislikes: The floor was very thin. I worried about tearing it or puncturing a whole if I steped on something wrong. Note to Self: Alway purchase better stakes and set your tent up at home. That way when you go to a site you know how big your tent is and if you show up at your site in the dark you have an idea on how to set it up.

Likes: We have not gone camping yet, but the tent held 8 ten year old boys in our backyard for a sleepover. Extremely roomy! Enough room for wrestling, ghost stories, and a menagerie of animals. Backcountry Edge has excellent customer service, the tent arrived in 2 days and was at a great price!
