The Grand Mesa 3 provides 43.5 square feet of interior space and a vestibule offers 8.75 square feet of additional exterior space for stowing gear and muddy boots. The combination of sidewall vents and mesh fabric used on the tent body provides excellent ventilation for combating condensation build-up and keeping you cool during warm weather.
The Grand Mesa 3 uses color coded clip construction that eliminates the hassle of feeding poles through cumbersome tent sleeves. Just slide the shock-corded pole sections together and attach the clips. The freestanding design of the Grand Mesa 3 allows you to pitch the tent and then move it around your campsite to find the optimum position, eliminating an uncomfortable night's sleep over an exposed root or rock.
The PU polyester rainfly and taped seams of the Grand Mesa 3 protect the interior of the tent from wind and rain. An optional footprint (sold separately) further protects the Kelty Grand Mesa 3 against ground water, roots and rocks.
