Updated for 2009! The Kelty Galactic 20 Degree sleeping bag is designed for three-season camping trips. Lightweight, compressible down fill and a stuff size of 8" x 16" make the Galactic 20 Degree convenient for packing and carrying.

The Galactic 20 Degree sleeping bag is insulated with 600-fill down. Down has a soft, comfortable feel and boasts the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any insulation available. The feathers and fibers are known for their efficiency in trapping body heat and are very easily compressed for convenient packing and storage. The one downfall to this insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet. The shell of the Galactic 20 Degree is made of polyester and ripstop nylon while a polyester taffeta liner provides internal comfort.

Unlike mummy-shaped bags, the Galactic 20 Degree's rectangular cut provides more room at the feet, hips and shoulders, allowing you to roll around easily. Side sleepers and thrashers will surely appreciate the extra wiggle room!

Two-layer offset quilt construction eliminates cold spots, keeping outside from reaching the inside of the Galactic 20 Degree. This type of quilt construction is durable and maintains its shape and structure after many uses. A zipper draft tube helps to ensure that cold air is blocked from entering the interior of the bag.

The Galactic 20 Degree can be fully unzipped for use as a blanket. Additional features include sleeping pad security loops to keep you from rolling off of your pad or mattress while you sleep, integrated hanging loop for storage and internal loops for use with a protective Kelty liner (sold separately).

Sized to fit to 6'0", the Kelty Galactic 20 Degree sleeping bag comes with a stuff sack and a storage sack.
