The versatile Kelty Flashback is a unique 2-in-1 lighting source for backpacking and camping. Measuring 6" x 2.75" x 2.75" and weighing just 10 ounces, the collapsible Flashback doubles as a flashlight and a lantern.
Used in its flashlight setting, the Flashback provides a spotlight beam with a brightness of 80 Lumens. Extend the anodized aluminum housing to convert the Flashback to a diffused lighting source for your campsite or inside your tent. This lantern setting has a brightness of 40 Lumens. An integrated 5-step switch allows you to quickly toggle through High, Medium, Low and Strobe settings.
A built-in bail serves as a hanging point for the lantern and allows you to lash the Flashback to your pack. The anodized aluminum body is both lightweight and durable. Rubber ends provide a no-slip surface and further protect the Flashback from wear and tear.
The Kelty Flashback requires 4 AA batteries (not included).

Likes: I've got the Mini model also and this puppy really puts out the light.Basically the same as the Mini accept bigger.Same kind of hangup loop and telescoping design makes this lantern a must have part of your gear.Let us not forget the positive on/off switch flush with the top makes it packable without chance of running your batteries down.
Dislikes: Absolutely nothing!
Likes: The small but big size,and the functionality of this light is of genius design.The positive on/off switch(so it won't turn on) by accident in your pack and drain the batteries.The lantern w/ a light loop,3 different modes,plus a strobe.
Dislikes: Nothing,again,it's a blessing.I'm even ordering the regular size!
