An excellent balance of functionality and affordability, the Kelty FC 2.0 framed child carrier has safety features, carrying capacity and a suspension system that allows parent and child to hike comfortably and confidently. The FC 2.0 is suitable for children who can sit up by themselves.
A lightweight aluminum frame provides solid support to the FC 2.0, enabling it to carry up to 50 pounds (including your child, the carrier itself and gear). Though sturdy enough for overnight trips or rugged day hiking, the FC 2.0 is also compact and lightweight enough for simple walks, errands and around-town travel. An auto-deploy kickstand maintains the FC 2.0's sleek profile while providing a safe, stable base each and every time you load and unload your child. An integrated adjustment slider allows you to customize the suspension of the 2.0 to fit torsos ranging from 15" to 18". Together, the contoured and padded shoulder straps, cushioned backpanel and two-layer waistbelt make the FC 2.0 comfortable to carry. Load-lifter straps and an adjustable sternum strap further enhance fit and provide greater comfort.
The padded child seat and 5-point harness ensure your child's safety and help to effectively distribute weight and balance the FC 2.0 on your back. The height of the seat can be adjusted to account for the growth of your child. Padding on the interior of the cockpit offers further protection for your child and is removable for easy washing. The Kelty FC Sun Hood (sold separately) can be used to provide your child with protection from glare and harmful UV rays.
With a zippered compartment underneath the child seat and large, zippered front pocket with internal organizational features, the FC 2.0 has a total storage capacity of 1150 cubic inches. Zippered pockets on the waistbelt provide another storage option for valuables. Sewn-in carry handles make the FC 2.0 easy to tote.
Made of 420D polyester and brushed nylon fabrics, the Kelty FC 2.0 framed child carrier is available in your choice of colors.
