The self-inflating Kelty Double Wide Basecamp Pad provides campers with maximum comfort and extra room to sprawl. With a standard 2.5" thickness, the mattress can be folded over on itself to create a plush double thick base.
The self-inflating foam of the Double Wide Basecamp Pad provides warmth, cushioned support and compressibility for ease of transport and storage. When the integrated dual valves are opened, the open-cell foam automatically begins to absorb air and expand. Once you've given the Double Wide Basecamp Pad adequate time to inflate, you can expand it to its fullest loft by adding a few extra puffs of air or adjust the firmness by releasing air before fully closing the valves.
The full dimensions of the Kelty Double Basecamp Pad are 78" x 51" x 2.5". Each Doulbe Wide Basecamp Pad includes a repair kit and attached roll-up straps (packed size of 27" x 12").

Likes: First, the R-Rating because we camp a lot and have found that air mattresses just can't hold up and this serves as a good substitute. Second, the straps because it is difficult to pack this pad without them. But, it only takes a few more minutes to pack it than working with an air mattress.
Dislikes: What is ther not to like about something like this that can substitute for an air mattress

Likes: Ultra thick. High quality material. Quick setup. Fits two people nicely. Cover keep from sliding.
Dislikes: Heavy and takes up a fair amount of space, but that's pretty obvious since it is THICK, heavy construction/quality materials, and for two people. Great for car / drive-up camp site camping. Would be great for music festivals I imagine.

Likes: Quick to set up- had to blow a bit of air in, comfortable- used for ten days on hard ground- no problems. Cover keeps sleeping bag from sliding around.Like the compression straps- good quality
Dislikes: heavy- only for car camping
