Updated for 2013! The Kelty Cosmic Down 20 Degree sleeping bag is designed for 3-season backpacking and camping. Lightweight, compressible down fill and an array of features make the affordable Cosmic Down 20 Degree a real bargain.
The Cosmic Down 20 Degree sleeping bag is insulated with 550-fill power down. Down has a soft, comfortable feel and continues to be the insulation with the best warmth-to-weight ratio. The feathers and fibers are renowned for containing body heat and are very easily compressed, so the Cosmic Down 20 Degree bag takes up less space in your backpack. The one downfall to this insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet.
Box-baffle construction eliminates cold spots, keeping outside air from reaching the interior of the Cosmic Down 20 Degree bag. A draft tube behind the 58”, two-way locking zipper, an insulated top draft collar and a contoured hood with an insulated hood baffle further enhance the thermal efficiency of the Cosmic Down 20 Degree bag. The hood utilizes Kelty's patented FatMan and Ribbon drawcords, allowing you to adjust the top or lower sections of the hood by feel even when it's dark outside. A polyester taffeta liner provides internal comfort.
Other features found on the Cosmic Down 20 Degree include sleeping pad security loops, internal liner loops and hanging loops.
The Kelty Cosmic Down 20 Degree sleeping bag is available in Short (fits up to 5’ 6”), Regular (up to 6' 0") and Long (up to 6' 6") lengths. Each Cosmic Down 20 Degree bag includes a stuff sack.
