Updated for 2009! The Kelty Cosmic 35 Degree Women’s sleeping bag is designed for lightweight backpacking during late spring, summer and early fall or in warm climates. Compressible synthetic fill and a tapered mummy cut makes the Cosmic 35 Degree Women’s bag a lightweight, packable option for female backpackers.

Kelty's Women's sleeping bag models are cut to more closely follow the contours of a woman's body, maximizing thermal efficiency. Compared to the men's versions, these bags are narrower at the shoulders, roomier at the hips and have extra insulation in the mid-section and foot of the bag, prime areas for heat loss.

The Cosmic 35 Degree Women’s bag utilizes Kelty CloudLoft Pro synthetic insulation. Kelty CloudLoft Pro is a lightweight, compressible synthetic fill that maintains its high loft, softness and insulating properties over time. Like other synthetic fills, Kelty CloudLoft Pro retains most of its insulating capabilities even when wet, making the Cosmic 35 Degree Women’s bag a good choice for wet or damp climates. The shell of the sleeping bag is made of ripstop nylon and a polyester taffeta liner provides internal comfort.

Two-layer offset quilt construction eliminates cold spots, keeping outside air from reaching the interior of the Cosmic 35 Degree Women’s bag. This type of quilt construction is durable and maintains its shape and structure even after many uses.

Other features found on the Cosmic 35 Degree Women’s bag include a 3/4-length, two-way locking zipper, sleeping pad security loops, internal liner loops, hanging loops and a contoured hood. The hood utilizes Kelty's patented FatMan and Ribbon drawcords, allowing you to adjust the top or lower sections of the hood by feel even when it's dark outside.
