Updated for 2009! The Kelty Cosmic 0 Degree sleeping bag is designed for winter or cold climate backpacking and camping. Compressible synthetic fill and a tapered mummy cut make the Cosmic 0 Degree a thermally efficient option for 4-season use.

The Cosmic 0 Degree utilizes Kelty CloudLoft Pro synthetic insulation. Kelty CloudLoft Pro is a lightweight, compressible synthetic fill that maintains its high loft, softness and insulating properties over time. Like other synthetic fills, Kelty CloudLoft Pro retains most of its insulating capabilities even when wet, making the Cosmic 0 Degree a good choice for wet or damp climates. The shell of the sleeping bag is made of ripstop nylon and a polyester taffeta liner provides internal comfort.

Two-layer offset quilt construction eliminates cold spots, keeping outside air from reaching the interior of the Cosmic 0 Degree bag. This type of quilt construction is durable and maintains its shape and structure even after many uses. A draft tube behind the 3/4-length, two-way locking zipper, a baffle collar and an insulated hood baffle further enhance the thermal efficiency of the Cosmic 0 Degree bag.

Other features found on the Cosmic 0 Degree include sleeping pad security loops, internal liner loops, hanging loops and a contoured hood. The hood utilizes Kelty's patented FatMan and Ribbon drawcords, allowing you to adjust the top or lower sections of the hood by feel even when it's dark outside. External snap loops even allow the Cosmic 0 Degree to serve as the liner for another Kelty sleeping bag liner in extremely cold conditions.

The Kelty Cosmic 0 Degree sleeping bag is available in Reg (up to 6"0") and Long (up to 6’6") lengths. Each Cosmic 0 Degree bag includes a stuff sack.
