Product Highlights

Built for 3-season camping and backpacking, the semi-rectangular, down-insulated Kelty Coromell 20 Degree sleeping bag is extremely roomy and unzips entirely for use as a blanket.

The Coromell 20 Degree sleeping bag is insulated with 550-fill power down. Down has a soft, comfortable feel and continues to be the insulation with the best warmth-to-weight ratio. The feathers and fibers are renowned for containing body heat and are very easily compressed, taking up less space in your pack. The one downfall to this insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet. The Coromell 20 Degree bag employs a nylon ripstop shell and a polyester microfiber liner provides internal comfort.

Box-baffle construction eliminates cold spots, keeping outside air from reaching the interior of the Coromell 20 Degree bag. A draft tube behind the two-way locking zipper further enhances the thermal efficiency of the Coromell 20 Degree bag. The full-length zipper also allows you to unzip the bag completely for use as a blanket. NOTE: The Coromell 20 Degree bag does not include a hood. Other features found on the Coromell 20 Degree bag include sleeping pad security loops, internal liner loops and hanging loops.

The Kelty Coromell 20 Degree sleeping bag is available in Regular (fits up to 6' 0") and Long (up to 6' 6") lengths. A stuff sack is included.

Likes: Semi-rectangular shape (mummies are too constricting) and it makes for a good blanket for home use. I own the 0 degree Long bag for car camping (warm sleeper) and it's cozy without extra clothing tnto the 20s. I wanted the 20 degree Regular bag for backpacking and warmer (Colorado mountain) weather.

Dislikes: Nothing. Even the price is good for this bag.

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

Likes: lightweight and warm, perfect for three season camping. The full zip is fantastic: open it up and it is a blanket. It is on my sofa or bed even when I'm home.

Dislikes: nothing. I had to poof up the down when it first arrived, though.

  • . Morrisville NC

Likes: Great value for money! Warm and comfortable. My wife and I purchased two of these. They provide really good flexibility - they can be un-zipped and used as a blanket and two bags can be zipped together.

I tend to move a lot when I sleep and this bag provides the room (I'm 6'0'', 170 lbs).

The bags pack down nicely. They do not compress as much as a high-end bag, but cost 1/3rd the price.

Dislikes: Zipper catches sometimes (not a big deal)

  • William S. Rantoul IL

Likes: The best feature: It actually packs up very small for a 20 degree bag. It's down so you can compress it very small. I also have the Kelty cormell 0 degree bag which is much, much bigger.

Dislikes: Kinda thin (but thats what makes it compressible). Use a sleeping pad with this one.
