Updated for 2013! A unique option for winter or cold-weather backpacking or camping, the semi-rectangular Kelty Coromell 0 Degree sleeping bag is extremely roomy and unzips entirely for use as a blanket.
The Coromell 0 Degree sleeping bag is insulated with 550-fill power down. Down has a soft, comfortable feel and continues to be the insulation with the best warmth-to-weight ratio. The feathers and fibers are renowned for containing body heat and are very easily compressed, taking up less space in your pack. The one downfall to this insulation is that it loses much of its ability to maintain warmth when it gets wet. The Coromell 0 Degree bag employs a nylon ripstop shell and a polyester microfiber liner provides internal comfort.
Box-baffle construction eliminates cold spots, keeping outside air from reaching the interior of the Coromell 0 Degree bag. A contoured hood with an insulated baffle and a draft tube behind the two-way locking zipper further enhances the thermal efficiency of the Coromell 0 Degree bag. In warmer weather or to shave weight, the zip-off hood can be removed entirely. The full-length zipper also allows you to unzip the bag completely for use as a blanket. Other features found on the Coromell 0 Degree bag include sleeping pad security loops, internal liner loops and hanging loops.
The Kelty Coromell 0 Degree sleeping bag is available in Regular (fits up to 6' 0") and Long (up to 6' 6") lengths. A stuff sack is included.
