The Kelty Celestial 55 Degree is a versatile sleeping bag designed for use during summer months or in warm climates. One side of the Celestial 55 Degree is fully insulated for cooler evenings. On hot, muggy summer nights, flip the bag over to better stay cool underneath a lightweight polyester-cotton sheet!
The Celestial 55 Degree sleeping bag utilizes Kelty CloudLoft synthetic insulation. Kelty CloudLoft is a lightweight, compressible synthetic fill. Like other synthetic fills, Kelty CloudLoft retains most of its insulating capabilities even when wet, making the Celestial 55 Degree a good choice for wet climates. The shell of the sleeping bag is made of ripstop nylon and a polyester-cotton liner provides internal comfort.
Unlike mummy-shaped bags, the Celestial 55 Degree's rectangular cut provides more room at the feet, hips and shoulders, allowing you to roll around easily. Side sleepers and thrashers will surely appreciate the extra wiggle room!
The Celestial 55 Degree can be fully unzipped for use as a blanket. Additional features include sleeping pad security loops to keep you from rolling off of your pad or mattress while you sleep, integrated hanging loop for storage and internal loops for use with a protective Kelty liner (sold separately).
