Product Highlights

With its hybrid open-cell/closed-cell foam design, the self-inflating Kelty Alpine Pad delivers versatility for year-round use. The Alpine Pad offers warmth for cold-weather adventures and a removable layer of closed-cell foam allows you to shed weight for mild-weather backpacking.

When the Alpine Pad's integrated valve is opened, the top layer of open-cell foam automatically begins to absorb air and expand. Once you've given the pad adequate time to inflate, you can expand it to its full loft by adding a few extra puffs of air or adjust the firmness by releasing air before fully closing the valve. Together, the layers of open-cell and closed-cell foam provide a full 1.75" of cushioned support.

Measuring 72" x 20" x 1.75", the Kelty Backpacker Pad includes a stuff sack (packed size of 22" x 7") and a repair kit.
