New for 2014! Utilizing Kelty’s AirPitch technology, the AirLift 6 tent doesn’t require unwieldy traditional poles for setup. Instead, simply attach the dual-action floor pump and inflate the AirPoles to pitch the AirLift 6 in under a minute! When it’s time to break camp, the floor pump can be used to just as quickly deflate the AirPoles, making packing up a breeze.
Perfect for family camping adventures, the AirLift 6 is a 3-season, 6-person home-away-from-home that measures in at 120” x 120/110” x 76” when pitched. And since the AirLift 6 does not use traditional tent poles, there are no additional pieces to misplace or break. The AirPoles further eliminate the cumbersome task of fiddling with multiple uncooperative poles in trying to set up camp. Integrated valves make it clear where to connect the large volume, double action pump, and within minutes the AirLift 6 reaches its full internal height of 76”. Large camping tents often put a lot of strain on tensioned metal or fiberglass poles and the AirPoles provide better longtime durability. Additionally, the rainfly is incorporated for a single-piece tent construction that allows a quick, no-hassle pitching experience even in a downpour!
The AirLift 6 provides a generous 96 square feet of interior space. Internal storage pockets provide convenient locations to stow essential gear, and the spacious 60 square foot vestibule area offers protection from the elements to additional gear outside the sleep room.
Taped floor seams in the body of the AirLift 6 complement taped seams in the integrated rainfly to keep moisture outside from getting in, while high and low vents and the ability to tie open the front of the vestibule area allow great ventilation to reduce condensation inside the tent.
Additional features in the AirLift 6 include guyout points and noiseless zipper pulls on both the tent body and integrated rainfly. An optional footprint (sold separately) can further protect the Kelty AirLift 6 against ground water, roots and rocks.
