A 0.2 micron ceramic filter, the key to the Pocket's extended life and durability, is effective against bacteria and cysts, including Giardia and Cryptosporidium. The Pocket can produce an astounding 13,000 gallons of drinkable water, depending on the quality of the water source, before filter replacement is required! A rugged aluminum exterior protects the filter from breakage and freezing, rendering the Pocket almost indestructible. The filter can be removed and cleaned to combat bacterial growth.

A simple-to-use ergonomic pump allows the Pocket to easily filter up to 1 quart of water per minute.

The Pocket includes an input hose with modular pre-filter, an output hose with a universal bottle clip, a measuring gauge to monitor the life of the filter, and a hydration system connector. A deluxe carry bag has sewn-in field instructions and field tips. The Pocket also comes with a tube of silicon lubricant to keep parts moving smoothly and efficiently. Two abrasive cleaning pads are included for regular cleaning of the Pocket.
