The Katadyn Hiker PRO microfilter, with its compact size, light weight, and simple-to-use design, is an ideal choice for back country hiking, camping and backpacking. Weighing only 11 oz. and measuring a mere 6.5" x 3", the Hiker PRO takes up very little room in your pack and does its job quickly and efficiently. Katadyn includes a number of features and accessories that enhance the back country performance of the Hiker PRO.

The Hiker PRO's 0.3 micron pleated AntiClog glass fiber filter removes particulates, bacteria and cysts, including Giardia and Cryptosporidium. The Hiker PRO can produce up to 200 gallons of drinkable water, depending on the quality of the water source, before a replacement filter is required. An activated carbon core reduces unpleasant tastes and odors, ensuring fresh-tasting water. A cleanable filter protector helps to extend the life of the Hiker PRO's filter cartridge by shielding it from wear and tear.

A simple-to-use ergonomic pump and a 36" input hose allow the Hiker PRO to easily filter up to 1 quart of water per minute at a rate of 48 strokes per quart.

The Hiker PRO includes an input hose with modular pre-filter, an output hose with an easy-fill bottle adapter to efficiently pump water into your water bottle, and 2 Quick Connect fittings and a hydration system connector for easy hose handling and direct filling of hydration packs. A deluxe carry bag has sewn-in field instructions and field tips. The Hiker PRO also comes with a tube of silicon lubricant to keep parts moving smoothly and efficiently. A sponge is included for regular cleaning of the Hiker PRO.
