Available in multiple sizes and utilizing a flexible elastomer harness, MICROspikes attach securely to footwear ranging from sneakers and casual shoes to trail running shoes and hiking boots. Easy-to-use, MICROspikes do not require any buckles or straps. Reinforcements on the harness at the flex chain connection points bolster durability and integrated heel tabs make MICROspikes easy to take on and off.

Likes: I have used them for the past 2 years, and they are superior to most other means of traction devices. This is a spare pair.

Dislikes: Sometimes they shift on the boot

Likes: Long lasting traction system that is second to none in it's ability to provide good footing in any slippery condition you may encounter on your walks. I live in an area above 7500 feet in elevation so we get a lot of snow in the winter. Also, the pine trees keep the snow from melting, even in the Spring when warmer temps prevail, so there are icy patches around from October through May. When I go out I always wear my Kahtoola MICROspikes and that gives me confidence to walk my dog in the three snowy seasons we get here in our part of Colorado.

Dislikes: I am elderly and the length of the spikes make me have to raise my feet up a little bit higher than normal when I walk, but other than that they're wonderful!

Likes: Absolutely no worries when walking on ice or snow! These MICROspikes work better than any other traction system around. I've tried them all and Kahtoola's product delivers the best worry-free walking experience. I highly recommend this product!

Dislikes: My hands are a bit arthritic and the spikes were difficult to put on the first time. But once they're on, they stay on, so I now use them with one particular pair of snow boots and never take them off.

Likes: Maiden voyage was up an ice covered trail. People were sliding everywhere but I cruised right past them. The spikes cut into the ice with no slippage. First time putting them on was a little confusing but after that they went on quickly and easily.

    Dislikes: nothing

Likes: These MICROspikes are a life-savers! No worries when walking on icy or slippery surfaces. It's great to have confidence walking in snow and ice now. Highly recommend these spikes!

    Dislikes: Absolutely nothing!

Likes: My wife and I used our microspikes for the first time to hike across a frozen lake and summit a modest ADK peak with ice covered rock surfaces. They worked great! Easy to get on and off, the sizing was right on. We're looking forward to using them on a couple high peaks in the near future.

    Dislikes: Nothing - they're great!

Likes: I am a klutz by nature and live in a climate where there are frequent patches of snow and ice on the ground. I was skeptical of these MICROspikes as to whether or not they would keep me from falling when out on my daily walk with the dogs, but they really work! I have worn them on my Sorel Caribou boots when walking on snow, ice, and even in slippery dirt and never once have I slipped or fallen. I can walk while looking around instead of constantly scanning the ground for icy spots. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who lives where snow falls. I've already bought a pair for my husband and will be ordering another pair for my elderly father.

Dislikes: A bit pricey, but well worth it.
