Ever since it’s arrival on the outdoor scene in 2004, the Jetboil Personal Cooking system (PCS) has garnered attention and won awards for its ground-breaking design. A simple-to-use electric igniter makes lighting the burner quick and easy. Through the use of patented FluxRing technology, a 1-liter insulated and hard-anodized aluminum Companion Cup connects directly to the burner, ensuring that little heat is lost and delivering high performance. A built-in windscreen allows the PCS to function effectively even under less than optimal conditions.

A neoprene lining encases the FluxRing Companion Cup, keeping food and beverages warm long after heating. A sip-through lid further helps insulate the contents of the Companion Cup and prohibits spills. The protective plastic bottom of the cup can be removed for use as a small bowl or measuring device.

In addition to the Companion Cup, the Backcountry Gourmet Cook Set includes the Jetboil FluxRing Fry Pan that rests safely and securely atop the Pot Support and Stabilizer (also included). The Fry pan utilizes the same FluxRing technology for optimal performance and tackles bigger cooking tasks like scrambling eggs and simmering sauces.

Adding even further functionality for your next cooking adventure, the Backcountry Gourmet Cook Set also includes the Jetboil Jetset Utensil Set. Consisting of a spatula, fork and spoon, the Jetset Utensil Set provides ergonomic performance and collapse to stow neatly and efficiently when you’re ready to get back on the trail.
