The Hyalite Equipment Peak Oyl Elite self-inflating sleeping pad utilizes a unique hybrid design to offer the cushioning support and insulation of both air and foam. Lightweight materials and a compact, mummy-style design help to keep weight and packed size to a minimum, making the Peak Oyl Elite an ideal choice for 4-season backpacking and snow camping.
The self-inflating die-cut foam of the main body of the Peak Oyl Elite provides cushioning and compresses for ease of packing and carrying. When the integrated valve is opened, the foam absorbs the introduced air and expands to its fullest loft. Once the Peak Oyl Elite has been given adequate time to fully inflate, the firmness of the pad can be fine-tuned by simply adding a few extra puffs of air or releasing air before fully closing the valve. In addition, inflatable side rails serve as "berms", keeping you centered on your pad while you sleep and providing additional cushioning. A dose of synthetic fill inside the side rails enhances insulation for confident year round use.
A water-repellent finish protects the pad from wetting out and adds stain-resistance. The aluminum valve is weather-safe and impact-resistant. Textured, tacky design highlights on the top of the Peak Oyl Elite reduce the slipperiness of the material and help to keep you from sliding off of the sleeping pad while you sleep.
The Hyalite Equipment Peak Oyl Elite self-inflating sleeping pad is available in Two Thirds (measures 20" x 48" x 1.5"), Regular (20" x 72" x 1.5") and Long (20" x 78" x 1.5") sizes. Each Peak Oyl Elite includes a stuff sack, a wrap strap and a field repair kit.
