Updated for 2007! Constructed of a high-performance alloy, the GSI Halulite Double Boiler is a functional cookset made up of two separate nesting pots. A lightweight, hard-anodized alloy, Halulite is incredibly lightweight, durable and scratch resistant. The Halulite Double Boiler offers backcountry functionality at a weight that won't weigh down your pack. Consisting of a 1.25-quart pot and a second 0.5-quart pot, the Halulite Double Boiler provides versatility for cooking multiple courses. Together, these two pots offer a capacity of 33 fluid ounces. The smaller of the two pots can also serve as a mug or bowl. Both pots nest together and are sized to contain backpacking stoves and fuel (both sold separately), allowing you to integrate your entire cooking system into a single unit. Offering consistent energy transfer, the Halulite Double Boiler allows heat to quickly and evenly spread across the bottom and up the sides of the pot, making it one of the best cooking surfaces available. A durable, see-through Lexan lid allows you to view the contents of the boiler and monitor the cooking process without ever giving heat a chance to escape. An integrated hard plastic tab allows you to remove the lid easily and without the threat of sustaining burns. The GSI Halulite Double Boiler weighs 11.8 ounces.
