Product Highlights
Striking a balance between weight and durability, the high-end Gregory Z Pack employs lightweight, high-tenacity fabrics and an excellent suspension system to provide load carrying capability without the bulk and burden of a full-blown expedition pack. Sleek enough for adventure racing, the Z Pack's ability to carry up to 35 lbs. of gear makes it versatile enough for ultra-lightweight weekend or multi-day backpacking trips. The standard capacity of the medium-sized Z-Pack is 3300 cubic inches. Having spent numerous years and countless miles out on the trail, the designers at Gregory are well aware of the problems that arise from ill-fitting backpacks. Unwilling to compromise comfort or load-carrying capability, Gregory's commitment to providing the perfect fit is evident in the technology used in their harness and suspension systems. A single lightweight, hollow stay and FOAM-X hourglass framesheet work in tandem to support the stability of the Z Pack by distributing weight evenly and transferring the load to your hips. Both the stay and the framesheet can be removed when load is minimal or you are intent on cutting weight. A sport shoulder harness and Gullwing Plus waistbelt enhance fit and aid in load transfer. The ventilated foam padding and integrated chimney construction of the backpanel provide cushioning and keep you cool on the trail by allowing air to circulate between your back and the body of the pack. A sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enhance the fit of the Z Pack and ensure the stability of your load, allowing convenient adjustment while on the trail. The single main compartment of the Z Pack has an extendible drawstring-closed top entry and a zippered entry allows full side access to the pack body. A large zippered front pocket provides a secure place to secure additional gear and a huge "bucket" pocket with mesh sides offers convenient storage for gear or wet clothes. The Z Pack's extendible lid includes an integrated stowaway pocket and can be detached when not needed. All of the zippers used on the Z Pack are designed to be weather resistant. The Z Pack also includes side compression straps and gear loops. An integrated sleeve and exit port make the Z Pack hydration compatible. Made of high-tenacity 140D Dyneema polyethylene and durable 210D nylon fabric, the Z Pack is available in Castor Gray or Flame color options. The Z Pack is available in XS, S, M or L size options.
