  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

    Likes: Kept everything covered dry.

Dislikes: Obviously, anything protruding from my pack got wet.

  • Tony R. Norwalk OH

Likes: I justed used this a few weeks ago on a four day trip in which we experieced some rain and it worked just as it was designed and I had no issues. I love Gregory products they are always quality made items.

    Dislikes: Nothing

  • . Fresno CA

Likes: Fits well and should be fine, I like the little carry case it comes with.

Dislikes: This should really be included with the pack.... and wish it came in more colors. I like blue but it stands out.

  • Doug A. West Milford NJ

    Likes: Kept my pack dry

Dislikes: A bit pricey for what it is.

  • Stephen P. Myersville MD

Likes: very large , covered my whole pack and kept everything dry

    Dislikes: nothing

  • . Addison IL

Likes: Good raincover that fits the backpack well.

Dislikes: A bit heavy and expensive but a good product.

  • . Los Osos CA

Likes: I always just used a big hefty bag to save weight, but I bought the rain cover with my new Gregory pack just because. First trip out, we had heavy rain showers all night, but this cover fit well and kept everything dry. I bought the large size, which allowed me to tuck extra items under it, which was really convenient.

Dislikes: A tad pricey for a simple rain cover, but if I had to hike in the rain I'd be really thankful I bought the good rain cover instead of using a trash bag.

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

Likes: Very good fits for my gregory backpack.

    Dislikes: N/A

  • Tashi Y. Astoria NY

Likes: Does the work. Also, its comes with it on pack with clip. Just hang it on your bag when not in use.

Dislikes: Color is not as shown on site.

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

    Likes: Durable

Dislikes: It's rather narrow for a backpack with side pouches. Fits Gregory Z backpacks ok but my Baltoro is just too wide for the cover. Color options would be nice to choose from

  • David W. Whitinsville MA

Likes: Fits well, kept my pack dry in multiple rainy situations, easy to get on and off.

    Dislikes: nothing

  • Todd H. New Albany OH

Likes: Compact. Lightweight. Medium is an excellent fit for my 4000ci Gregory pack with room to spare for attached gear.

    Dislikes: No color options

  • Kaushik G. Boise ID

Likes: The cover is lightweight, yet strong and sturdy. Comes in its own tiny stuff bag/pouch, with a velcro loop strap and a hang clip. The draw cord holds the cover in place during windy conditions. Got a Large size for my Baltoro 75, fits well covering sufficient large sized stuffs (tripod, sandals, garbage bag, sleeping pad etc) on the outside of the backpack.

Dislikes: Would have liked more colors to choose from. Got a sea blue color, which is quite different from the one posted in the pic (royal navy blue) on the site. Either of these do not gel well in the woods out there.

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

Likes: got the large size for Gregory Triconi 60. Fits great, comes with its own sack. Easy to put on in a hurry.

    Dislikes: Nothing

  • Dena T. Cocoa FL

Likes: The Velcro strap across the back helps secure the cover around the bag.

Dislikes: I have two external frame backpacks. This cover is designed for internal frame packs. Unfortunately the description does not say that so I had to return the pack covers because they are not deep enough or wide enough to completely cover the pack when it is full.

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

Likes: Lightweight and fits well. Does intended job.

    Dislikes: Nothing

  • Jim A. Brentwood TN

Likes: Great light weight cover, does the job its suppose to. Velcro feature for the pull cord is nice in cold weather. Make sure you buy a size larger if you are carrying a lot of stuff on the exterior of your pack.

    Dislikes: Nothing.

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

Likes: Cover is good on the bag and can avoid the raining.

    Dislikes: N/A

  • Elizabeth M. Camp Hill PA

Likes: Keeps the rain off my pack, is lightweight, velcro closure holds it in place.

    Dislikes: n/a

  • Mike S. Paradise PA

Likes: It does an excellent job of shedding water. Fits very nicely around the pack.

    Dislikes: Nothing

  • Kyle H. Linn MO

Likes: This rain cover fits my pack well is lightweight, and packs down very small. Nice little features include a cable that goes across the back of the pack to hold the cover in place, a tiny stuff sack that is attached to the rain cover itself so you don't lose it, and a small clip attached to the stuff sack to attach to your pack.

Dislikes: Wish I would of gotten the bigger size to fit better over my sleeping pad.

  • Todd A. Mount Pleasant SC

Likes: Small and compact hangs right on my pack

Dislikes: Is a litle small does not take into account other product that maybe on your pack.

Likes: Fits on my pack easily, with little fuss. I have had a series of Gregory covers over the past 15 years and they have never let my pack get wet.

Dislikes: After about 10 years, it gets musty. The upside is that it lasts that long and only costs $25.

  • david m. fountaintown IN

Likes: Fits well on my osprey pack and keeps the rain out every time. Easy to put on.

    Dislikes: Nothing

  • John H. Orange CA

Likes: Designed to fit the Gregory backpacks

Dislikes: Probably a plastic bag would work just as well, at a lot lower cost.

  • John F. Toledo OH

Likes: Fits neatly over my pack and gave the rain protection needed. Have not used this in a long heavy rain so cannot judge performance in heavy rain.

Dislikes: The product met all my expectations but the cover could be integrated so I don't have one more thing to pack and keep track of.

  • Matthew G. Lenoir City TN

Likes: I have the Gregory Baltoro 75 the raincover fit perfectly and worked the same way it fit. I was on 3 hike last fall in the Great Smoky Mountains that it rained on me 2 was a light rain and one was a down pour and my backpack stayed completely dry along with everything inside.

    Dislikes: Nothing

  • Jamie L. Mesa AZ

Likes: During our last trip we had rain, hail and snow and everything stayed dry. Even though we double bagged everything in zip lock bags it is always nice to have another level of protection. Easy, fast and there when you need it.

    Dislikes: Loved everything about it.

  • Jamie L. Mesa AZ

Likes: Fast and easy to use. Even though we had everything double zip lock bagged it was nice to have when the rain started to come down. Don't forget to buy a size bigger than what you think you'll need if you carry things on the outside of your pack.

Dislikes: No dislikes. It's a must have and always nice to have to make sure your gear stays dry.

  • William R. Melbourne FL

Likes: great rain cover! it easily fits over my 85 liter pack and keeps the rain and dew off it when i leave it outside my tent at night! great for those whose tent doesnt have a vestibule and have to leave their stuff outside their door when they have more than one person sleeping inside. great product!

    Dislikes: nothing so far!

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

Likes: Integrated stuff sack; pull cord to tighen the cover around the pack; back strap to keep the cover from blowing off in the wind.

Dislikes: Only one color available (royal blue); expensive (many smaller/daypacks come with free, integrated rain covers now); does not come with any information regarding features or how to properly use the rain cover on a pack.

  • Sang H S. Germantown MD

    Likes: Weather Resistant

I bought two more again!(different size)

    Dislikes: nothing

  • Jason S. Lancaster PA

Likes: This cover fits well, offers solid construction, and sheds plenty of water. Lightweight and packs into a small integrated stuff sack.

    Dislikes: No complaints

  • Jessie C. Santa Clara CA

Likes: I havn't used it but it looks much better and stronger than the rain cover I have now, Deuter. Hopefully, it will be water resistant!

  • Kyle H. Kure Beach NC

Likes: works great although I have returned for the next size up

Dislikes: nothing really, maybe more colors would be nice

  • Joseph C. Fishkill NY

Likes: Kept the pack dry, rain shed off well. Easy to put on and has the elastic to cross behind your back which kept the cover tight.

Dislikes: I have the 5000ci, which I think is large?. I am going to trade up to the XL due to attaching extra pouches on the sides of pack.

  • Louis T. Bayside Hills NY

Likes: BIG fits over my 6500 C.I. pack. Repels water well. Packs into nice small stuff sack which comes included.

Dislikes: Nice if it came is a few more colors to match more Packs

  • Louis T. Bayside Hills NY

Likes: These covers are light, well made and work well. (especially in the rain!!!) Shrinks down into a small size for storage the rest of the time.

Dislikes: I don't really have any complaints. Perhaps more colors being available woudl be nice.
