New for 2013! The key to a great running pack is that it fit so well you forget that it’s there. Weighing in at just 12 ounces, the Gregory Pace 8 Women’s hydration pack delivers a dialed-in fit and incorporates run-specific organizational and access features that are perfect for multi-hour runs and ultramarathons.
Contoured, gender-specific shoulder straps comfortably hug your body and work in tandem with the Wraptor harness stabilizer and an integrated load stabilizer to eliminate “bounce” and movement. The result is a “quiet” pack that allows for an unencumbered arm swing. Cocona fabrics encase the backpanel padding to deliver comfort and aid in moisture management. An adjustable sternum strap enhances fit and stability.
The main compartment of the Pace 8 Women’s pack has a long vertical zipper that provides full access to the interior and makes it easy to remove the included 2L (68 oz) hydration reservoir. An additional large storage pocket is accessed through a diagonal front zipper. Especially handy for challenging terrain and longer runs, a dedicated storage pocket safely and securely stows lightweight, collapsible trekking poles (sold separately). Several pockets on the chest area of the harness cater to runners, offering secure places to stow gels, electrolytes, snacks and other small gear items. A stretch pocket with a small lower pass through is perfect for carrying gel flasks (sold separately). A small, zippered sweat/waterproof security pocket inside the main compartment protects valuables.
