Product Highlights

Striking a balance between weight and durability, the high-performance Gregory Jade 60 Women's pack gives female hikers a versatile option for weekend trips or ultra-light, multi-day backpacking trips. Despite its lightweight design, the Jade 60 Women's pack comfortably carries up to 45 pounds!

Addressing the different wants and needs of male and female hikers, the backpacks of Gregory's Women's Series cater to the woman on the go. Designed and tested by women, these packs incorporate shoulder harnesses contoured to fit the female figure and waistbelt panels built to adjust to fit women's hip angles. Reflecting the difference in male and female ergonomics, the packs of the Women's Series also employ narrower backpanels.

Having spent numerous years and countless miles out on the trail, the designers at Gregory are well aware of the problems that arise from ill-fitting backpacks. Unwilling to compromise comfort or load-carrying capability, Gregory's commitment to providing the perfect fit is evident in the technology used in the Jade 60 Women's harness and JetStream LTS (Load Transfer Suspension) suspension systems. A single lightweight, hollow stay and a molded, perforated V-beam framesheet work in tandem to support the stability of the Jade 60 Women's pack by distributing weight evenly and transferring the load to your hips. Raised contact points at the scapula pads and lower lumbar pad create substantial space between your pack and the pack allowing "true ventilation". The ventilated moisture wicking harnesses, waistbelt and backpanel enhance fit, aid in load transfer, provide cushioning and keep you cool on the trail. An updated proprietary waistbelt system allows you to choose between three different adjustable lengths to provide optimal fit. An adjustable sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enhance the fit of the Jade 60 Women's pack and ensure the stability of your load, allowing convenient on-the-go adjustment.

Access to the single main compartment of the Jade 60 Women's pack is gained via an extendible drawstring-closed top entry or a zippered front entry. A large zippered front pocket provides a secure place to store additional gear and mesh side pockets offer further storage. An additional pocket is found on the extendible lid of the Jade 60 Women's pack.

Other features built into the Jade 60 Women's pack include side and bottom compression straps, quick-access waistbelt pockets, weather-resistant zippers and trekking pole/tool attachment loops. An integrated sleeve and dual exit ports make the Jade 60 Women's pack hydration compatible.

Available in your choice of color options, the Gregory Jade 60 Women's pack comes in XS (3295 cubic inch storage capacity.), S (3600 cu in) and M (3906 cu in) sizes.

Likes: Typical Gregory product - quality materials, well designed and well made.

Dislikes: The hydration blatter section in the pack had this weird tight section right in the middle. It was like you had to shove the bladder past it but I doubt it would fit in the lower half. Other than that it was a great pack. I had to return it simply because of fit - although the specs says that its got an adjustable torso, it does not. The pack is definitely a 17-18 in torso size with very minimal room for adjustment.

Likes: This Gregory is attractive on its appearance, and very easy to take out everything in the pocket, size is right for me, and the light weight is also a plus.

Dislikes: However, the back material is a little hard for me, I feel not very comfortable when carrying around 35lb stuff (I'm 120lb), so I have to returned it. Anyway, if you want to buy this one, please try it before purchasing, it'll save your time.

Likes: This pack can hold a lot of gear. I was able to carry 35 lbs for several miles comfortably. We use the straps on the side to attach our sleeping pads. Sleeping bags can be attached at the bottom (if they pack small) or at the top of the pack.
