Acknowledging the different wants and needs of male and female hikers, Gregory incorporates contoured shoulder harnesses, narrower backpanels and pre-curved hipbelts into a series of women's-specific packs. These packs are designed and tested by women, ensuring that their performance meets the expectations of female adventurers.
Unwilling to compromise comfort or load-carrying capability, Gregory's commitment to providing the perfect fit is evident in the technology used in the Jade 38 Women's pack's harness and CrossFlo DTS (Dynamic Transfer Suspension) system. A single lightweight, spring steel bar and a unique harness yoke configuration work in tandem to support the stability of the Jade 38 Women's pack by distributing weight evenly and transferring the load to your hips. The ventilated moisture wicking harnesses, hipbelt and backpanel enhance fit, aid in load transfer, provide cushioning and keep you cool on the trail. An adjustable sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enhance the fit of the Jade 38 Women's pack and ensure the stability of your load, allowing convenient on-the-go adjustment.
A lashed divider separates the top and front-entry main compartment of the Jade 38 Women's pack from a lower sleeping bag compartment, allowing for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unhook the divider and convert the Jade 38 Women's pack to a single, large compartment. Other features built into the Jade 38 Women's pack include side compression straps, a large front pocket, quick-access hipbelt pockets, trekking pole/tool attachment loops and a removable rain cover. An integrated sleeve and dual exit ports make the Jade 38 Women's pack hydration system (sold separately) compatible.
