New colors! The front panel-loading Gregory Jade 28 Women's pack strikes a balance between weight and performance. High-tenacity fabrics and an innovative suspension system keep the weight of the Jade 28 Women's pack to a minimum.
Acknowledging the different wants and needs of male and female hikers, Gregory incorporates contoured shoulder harnesses, narrower backpanels and pre-curved hipbelts into a series of women's-specific packs. These packs are designed and tested by women, ensuring that their performance meets the expectations of female adventurers.
Unwilling to compromise comfort or load-carrying capability, Gregory's commitment to providing the perfect fit is evident in the technology used in the Jade 28 Women's CrossFlo DTS (Dynamic Transfer System) suspension system. A single lightweight, spring steel bar and a unique harness yoke configuration work in tandem to support the stability of the Jade 28 Women's pack by distributing weight evenly and transferring the load to your hips. The ventilated moisture wicking harnesses, hipbelt and backpanel enhance fit, aid in load transfer, provide cushioning and keep you cool on the trail. An adjustable sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enhance the fit of the Jade 28 Women's pack and ensure the stability of your load, allowing convenient adjustment while on the trail.
The single main compartment of the Jade 28 Women's pack has a zippered entry that opens wide to allow access to the pack body. A large zippered front pocket provides a secure place to store additional gear and a huge front "bucket" pocket with mesh sides offers convenient storage for gear or wet clothes. A small zipped pocket at the top of the pack offers an additional place to stow small items. All of the zippers used on the Jade 28 Women's pack are designed to be weather resistant.
Other features include side compression straps, dual side mesh pockets, quick-access hipbelt pockets, ice axe/trekking pole attachment loops and a removable rain cover. An integrated sleeve and exit port make the Jade 28 Women's pack hydration system (sold separately) compatible.
The Gregory Jade 28 Women's day pack is available in your choice of colors and Small (1617 cubic inch capacity) and Medium (1739 cu in) size options.
