Product Highlights

Versatile, compact and equipped with a ground-breaking suspension system, the Gregory Deva 60 Women's is ready for any adventure you can dream up. Gregory's best-selling women's model, the Deva 60 Women's pack blends innovation with the time-tested foundation of Gregory's nearly 30 years of backpack design experience.

Whether you're planning to spend an entire week outside or only have a few days to get out on the trail, the Deva 60 Women's backpack is an ideal backcountry companion. The standard capacity of the Deva 60 Women's pack is 3500 cubic inches and capacity increases with the use of an extendible integrated spindrift collar.

Acknowledging the different wants and needs of male and female hikers, Gregory incorporates contoured shoulder harnesses, narrower backpanels and precurved waistbelts into a series of female specific packs. These packs are designed and tested by women, ensuring that they perform up to the expectations of female adventurers.

Determined to avoid the failings of ill-fitting backpacks, Gregory has equipped the Deva 60 Women's pack with the updated, high-performance Response Auto Fit Suspension (AFS) system. Designed to flex with the natural movements of your body, AFS distributes weight evenly, providing superior load stability, comfort and range of motion. A single aluminum stay connects to twin independently rotating waistbelt panels that automatically adjust to the angle of your hips and ensure proper load transfer. Accompanying stabilizer straps allow for micro adjustments for optimal fit. A curved composite top frame "stiffener" further increases stability and aids in weight distribution. The shoulder harness connects to the frame of the pack via rotating Auto-Cant attachment points, adjusting automatically to the contours of your neck and shoulders and eliminating the pinching and chafing caused by the imperfect fit of fixed or less adjustable harnesses. The 3D precurved harness and waistbelt are bolstered with dual density foams to cushion and prevent chafing. A sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enhance the fit of the Deva 60 Women's pack and ensure the stability of your load.

A lashed divider separates the top and front-entry main compartment of the Deva 60 Women's pack from a lower sleeping bag compartment, allowing for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unhook the divider and convert the Deva 60 Women's pack to a single, large compartment. The extendible lid of the Deva 60 Women's pack includes a weather-resistant zippered pocket for stowing gear and can be detached from the pack body when not needed. A large front stash pocket and zippered side pockets provide additional places to store gear.

The Deva 60 Women's backpack also includes a canted water bottle holder, gear loops and side, cross over and lower panel compression straps. An integrated, removable sleeve and exit port make the Deva 60 Women's pack hydration compatible.

Available in your choice of Chlorophyll Green, Sunset Orange or Calistoga Blue color options, the Gregory Deva 60 Women's backpack comes in XSmall (3500 cu. in.), Small (3600 cu. in.) and Medium (3900 cu. in.) size options.

Likes: My primary requirement was easy access since my old pack (a Gregory Tega) was top loading only. The Deva 60's top, side, and sleeping bag compartment access has completely eliminated my frustration. And increased my comfort. With my old pack, I had to stop to adjust every half hour or so. My shoulders and back hurt after a few hours. I thought that was just a hazard of the sport until I got the Deva 60. This thing is seriously comfortable! I don't even feel it on my shoulders. No back pain even after two full days on the trail. I can carry lots more stuff now - which is an advantantage I hadn't even considered.

Dislikes: It's noisy. Something is rubbing in the auto-adjusting hip belt. I squirted a little graphite on it (the kind you get for locks) and the noise has gone away.

Likes: Suspension system seemed to help stablize the pack

Dislikes: For a pack designed for the female body I found it very uncomfortable. I have a typical female body. Smaller in the waist, larger in the chest and hips. The straps cut into my clavicals and the waist belt wore on my pelvic bones. I ended up purchasing a Jansport Klamath. One size fits all. Waist belt is much wider, and straps were also wider and flat against my clavicles. I found this MUCH more comfortable and had a great trip, as opposed to a miserable one with the Deva.
