Likes: Great for sleeping bag or extra clothes. Durable construction, and different colors/sizes allow for easy identification of contents, when using multiple sacks.

Dislikes: I always fumble trying to get the top on without tangling the straps, but this is more user error than product defect.

  • James B. Sumter SC

Likes: Use it to compress down my sleeping bag. Straps took a little getting used to, but after using it one time it's no problem. Good product and works great

    Dislikes: Nothing. No dislikes

  • Lee S. Fort Campbell KY

Likes: I have used these bags from Afghanistan to traveling across country. They have held up and exceeded my expectations. I can organize based on different colored bags and help compress my cloths in order to fit in a carry on bag rather than a checked bag. Well worth the cost.

Dislikes: No cons in my opinion.

  • . Syracuse NY

Likes: Solid construction, I have used a couple different brand of compression sacks so far and this one is my favorite. Holds the compression, were others the straps will loosen over time, these do not.

    Dislikes: No complaints

Likes: I was impressed! I have a 0 degree Eureka Wild Basin mummy bag that came with its own stuff sack that I could not fit into the sleeping bag compartment of my Kelty Red Cloud 90 backpack. After utilizing the Granite Gear Block Rock Solid Compressor Compression Large Stuff Sack to compress my bag to half the size it was previously I fit in my bag with ease. Purchased two of these and had a young scout utilize one for his bag. He was able to operate it with ease. This sack is durable and worth the price. Paid the same price for a Coleman one at a national sporting good store and brought it back when I saw the cheap material. Excellent durability of the Granite Gear sack,

Likes: Great heavier duty sack. Fantastic for wrangling down my jackets and shells to a manageable size.

    Dislikes: Nothing

  • John S. DeMotte IN

Likes: Having 4 compression straps is a nice feature when you want to get the best fit.

Dislikes: To get the lid on make sure you leave a little bit of room or else it will be hard to slip on.

  • . Port Republic MD

Likes: looks well made and durable

    Dislikes: nothing

  • . East Greenbush NY

Likes: It's amazing how much clothing I can cram in this. The straps really condense the bag so you can carry a lot of bulkier clothes in smaller space. Used it for over a year and very sturdy.

Dislikes: The straps can be a bit confusing sometimes to get them right at first. But minor issue.

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

Likes: I've got two of these compressor bags now. They're work as advertised, come in some nice colors, and a variety of sizes. Stock up, you can never have enough bags and sacks.

Dislikes: I've had one retention buckle fail on a previous sack. Chemical smell.

  • Michael M. Jefferson City MO

Likes: Just right for the sleeping bag! Like the way it forms into a rectangular cube to fit in the pack.

Dislikes: A compression bag is not an ultralight bag.

  • Michael M. Jefferson City MO

Likes: Perfect for the extra clothes in my pack.

Dislikes: Published weight was more than I expected.

  • . Sycamore IL

Likes: easy to use, works great. Will be getting more

    Dislikes: nothing so far

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

Likes: just what i need to compress my sleeping bag for more room

  • . farmington PA

    Likes: quality fast deliver

Dislikes: should have got a bigger one

  • . owensboro KY

Likes: Great for clothes and like items.

Dislikes: Will not fit an adult sleeping bag. Get the 22l or 31l for that.

  • Anonymous Backcountry Edge Customer

Likes: Sturdy construction, great compression ability. I was able to get the "black bag" from the Military Modular Sleep System (inside which, I placed a pair of socks and a base layer for sleeping in) into the 22L sack, and got it compressed down to about 10"-12" x 6"-8", which then fit perfectly down into my USMC ILBE pack.

Dislikes: I always fumble with trying to figure out how to get the top on (straps always seemed crossed and jumbled), but I'm pretty sure this is due to operator error, and is not a fault of the sack.

  • . San Mateo CA

Likes: Great compression sack. I got it for my North Face Aleutian 3S Synthetic sleeping bag. The stock compression sack that came with the sleeping bag is listed at 17L and it didn't compress it nearly enough to put into my pack. I purchased the 22L and it works wonders. It compresses my sleeping back to about 5/8 the original size. It now fits perfectly at the bottom of my pack. I also purchased a 16L sack for multi purpose use.

    Dislikes: Nothing yet.

  • Marcie C. Cottonwood AZ

Likes: Pretty good compression sack that can cinch down pretty small.

    Dislikes: No complaints.
