Updated for 2009! Designed specifically for fast-moving, experienced, lightweight devotees, the GoLite Jam Women’s pack provides reliable performance while weighing in at just over one-and-a-half pounds! By stripping away all but the essential features needed for comfortable support, the Jam Women’s pack effectively carries loads of up to 30 lbs., enabling female hikers to make the most of daytrips and ultra-fast-packing multiple-day trips.

Accounting for the anatomical differences between men and women, GoLite offers a line of backpacks with women's specifications designed to fit the shape and movement of the female body. Shorter torso lengths, narrower shoulder straps and upper area of the hip portion of the pack provide fit not found on standard men's backpacks. The hipbelt is anatomically angled and the lower hip portion of the packs are wider to offer optimal fit and improved comfort. Shorter shoulder strap padding and a shorter sternum strap round out the women's specific features.

The Jam Women’s pack is available in two different torso sizes with packbags offering 2450 and 2600 cubic inch capacities, respectively. Adding versatility, GoLite's patented comPACKtor compression system enables the Jam Women’s pack to efficiently cinch down to accommodate far smaller loads. Integrated compression anchor clips snap easily into place, reducing the profile and depth of the pack for shorter trips and lighter loads. Side compression straps further enhance the compressibility of the packbag. NOTE: The Jam Women’s pack does not have a traditional overlapping lid. An extendible spindrift collar protects the interior of the Jam Women’s pack from the elements. The collar rolls down and cinches closed with an integrated, buckled compression strap to accommodate varying loads.

A removable foam framesheet provides the Jam Women’s pack with barebones cushioning. Breathable padding on the shoulder straps lends comfort and combats heat build-up while carrying heavy loads. An angled hipbelt further enhances carrying comfort and ensures proper fit. Cutting-edge Dyneema construction provides the packbag of the Jam Women’s pack with optimal strength, flexibility and abrasion-resistance.

A large zippered front pocket offers an organizational option to the Jam Women’s pack's large main compartment. Other special features include trekking pole loops and two large elastic mesh water bottle pockets. Built-in tube exit ports and a narrow lined internal pocket that accommodates most hydration bladders (not included) make the Jam Women’s pack hydration compatible. Providing valuable assistance in emergency situations, the buckle on the sternum strap doubles as a whistle.

Constructed of Dyneema Gridstop and 210D double ripstop Nylon fabrics, the GoLite Jam Women’s pack is available in Small (torso lengths ranging from 15.5"-17.5") and Med (17.5"-19.5") lengths and your choice of Thyme, Grease or Cornflower color options.
