If you backpack or travel light then you understand the importance of having one item pull double duty and the Exped Pillow Pump does just that. Packing down to 6.3" x 3.5" in an included stuff sack and weighing just 5.3 ounces, the Pillow Pump acts as a comfortable headrest for a sound night's sleep as well as a foot or hand pump for your Exped SynMat Basic 7.5, AirMat 7.5 and all Exped SIM mats (each sold separately).
To use, attach the tube end of the Pillow Pump to the valve on your Exped inflatable sleeping pad. Open the flat, intake valve on the bottom side of the Pillow Pump and place you hand or foot over the opening and compress with a pumping motion. The Pillow Pump will draw in fresh air after each compression and with each new compression air rapidly fills the sleeping pad at an average of about 25 pumps, depending on the size pad you are inflating. When finished filling your Exped sleeping pad (not included) with air, detach the Pillow Pump, blow a single breath into the valve at the end of the tube and you have a light weight comfortable pillow.
Two loops along the back side of the Pillow Pump attach to the Exped sleeping pads to keep the Pillow Pump under your head throughout the night. The ergonomic shape of the pillow allows it to fit comfortably tucked beneath the head and shoulder for side sleepers and supportive at the base of the neck for back sleepers. Quality construction, like high-frequency welded seams, offer durability and a small repair kit is included should the need arise.

Likes: It is a great concept but i had to return it because it did not work with my Big Agnes.
Dislikes: Bag is cheaply made.

Likes: Made it super easy to inflate my Exped pad, plus it gets filled with "dry" air rather than moistened air from your lungs. I suspect this may help it last longer. I have NEVER packed a pillow before, but quite honestly, this thing was totally comfy. Most comfortable sleeping setup I have ever used, hands down.
Dislikes: The product description says it attaches to loops on the Exped pad, but my pad seems to be missing the loops.... I plan to look into that, but overall, this product is a winner!

Likes: This is a great product. I also bought the Exped UL 7 LW pad to go with it. It takes about 20 or 30 pushes (estimate) on this pillow pump to get the pad blown up, but it's easier that using your lungs. After you've used it as a tool, it makes a great pillow. My daughter steals it from me whenever we go camping, and I've got to snatch it back in the middle of the night! It is small, and adds only a few ounces. Totally worth the purchase. I also like the fact that the pillow is easy to deflate and to get back into the stuff sack.
Dislikes: Unlike the Exped pad stuff sack, this stuff sack does not have an extra compartment in it to hold the included patch kit. Not a big deal, but that's the only thing that I could think of to improve this product.
The Exped Shrink Bag allows you to free up space in your pack by reducing the packed size of bulky items like your sleeping bag or extra winter layers and doubles as a pump for Exped inflatable sleeping pads.
Thanks to the Exped Air Pillow, ounce-counting backpackers no longer need to live with a stiff neck. Feather-light and boasting compact packed dimensions, the Air Pillow barely takes up any space in your pack. Available in 2 sizes.
The innovative Exped SynMat 7 sleeping pad has garnered numerous awards. A built-in pump makes inflation incredibly simple and microfiber insulation enhances the year-round performance of the SynMat 7.
