The versatile, lightweight Deuter Speed Lite 30 is a do-it-all day pack that is ideal for fast packing, ski tours and adventure racing. The integrated compression system also delivers an array of gear lashing options.
Consisting of a flexible, tensioned Delrin U-frame and a padded, breathable backpanel, the Speed Lite 30's Lite System suspension delivers a snug, comfortable fit while allowing the pack to weigh in at just over 1 pound. The Delrin rod aids in load stabilization but can be removed entirely when you're carrying light or want to store the pack in a compressed state. Perforated 3D AirMesh in the backpanel improves ventilation during aerobic activity. An adjustable sternum strap and a lightweight hipbelt further enhance fit and stability.
The top-loading packbag offers 1850 cubic inches of storage capacity. A large front stuff-it pocket and zippered mesh hipbelt pockets keep essentials close at hand. Twin side mesh pockets accommodate water bottles or other gear. A small zippered pocket inside the lid offers another place to store small items. A lined internal pocket and built-in tube exit point make the Speed Lite 30 hydration system (sold separately) compatible.
Three sets of side compression straps help you cinch down the packbag for optimal carry. The "wrap around" design will even allow you to carry skis for backcountry touring. A small reflective loop on the front of the pack provides enhanced visibility and can be used to attach a safety blinker light (not included). SOS instructions imprinted on the inside of the packbag serve as a safety reminder.
