Boasting a performance-enhancing back ventilation system, a 1700 cubic inch capacity, an excellent suspension and a long list of features, the versatile Deuter Futura 28 is a fashionable and functional day pack.
Consisting of a flexible, anatomically-shaped spring steel frame, the Futura 28's Aircomfort Back System hugs your torso and a mesh backpanel provides supportive tension. Air can freely escape through the space created between the pack body and your back, preventing heat build up. Soft, breathable fabrics and ventilated pads in the back, shoulder straps and hipbelt further help to keep you cool and comfortable on the trail. Load-lifter straps, side compression straps and shoulder and lumbar padding further aid in the effective distribution of weight throughout the pack.
The Futura 28 has a front panel loading main compartment and a separate front-access compartment that allows for the organization and separation of wet and dry gear. A zippered front pocket provides an additional storage space.
Other special features found on the Futura 28 include an ice axe loop, mesh water bottle pockets, trekking pole loops and an integrated rain cover for protecting your pack against the elements. A lined internal pocket, a built-in tube exit point and an integrated drinking tube clip on the shoulder strap make the Futura 28 hydration system (sold separately) compatible.
