I feel that two separate external pockets for one price is a good value! There are multiple daisy-chain loops sewn into the back of each pocket which makes it easy to adjust the position and fit of each pocket.
Dislikes:
Because the daisy-chain loop require you to undo the lacing on your pack to attach the external pockets, they become semi-permanent and they're not quickly detachable - unless you rig up some other attachment method.

Good size, nicely made and fairly light for the space they add. I'll be using them to pack specific "kits" like cooking stuff, cold weather gear etc. I normally stuff those things in the pack but now I can just strap them outside when things are too tight. If space becomes avilable they just pop back inside if you want.
One pocket is large enough to hold a MSR Reactor set, an extra 220 gram gas bottle AND a ham and cheese on wheat.
I ordered this at 11:15PM on a Monday and got them that WEDNESDAY with free shipping. Got a sweet deal on them too!

The pockets are of a sturdy fabric which will take quite a bit of knocking around . The seams are taped. They have a plastic coating inside for water resistance. I expected to strap a pair of these to the outside of a Deuter Women's 40 L pack & perhaps other manufacturer's packs in order to carry water bottles/cook kit or miscellaneous mid to heavy weight gear *outside* my pack, thus making a small pack work for overnighters. Add-on pockets did not work well for this purpose-- I ended up buying a 60 liter plus pack for weekenders. What the pockets worked for was day hikes or use inside my pack to carry a stove & cook kit & food protecting clothes & sleeping bag from food/fuel/grease spills
Dislikes:
The add-on were not a snug fit on my Women's Futura Zero 40 SL: Because of the position of the compression straps & the short height of the pack, heavy gear slogged around too much in transit to make a comfortable load. Also, they interfered with full use of the outside mesh pockets. Probably this add-on would work ok for soft stuff (clothes). or perhaps in a higher position on a larger/taller Men's pack thus freeing up the bottom pockets. Finally, weight-wise I was better off with a larger pack as the pockets weigh 7 oz per pair.
