New for 2008! Combining modern features with a classic look and feel, skiing phenom Eric Hjorleifson added his design input to the sleek Deuter EH Edge 25 alpine pack. Fashionable and functional, the EH Edge 25 is equally at home on the slopes or on your everyday adventures.

The EH Guide 25 utilizes Deuter's Alpine Back System, comprised of two vertical foam strips that provide stability and comfort while providing a "chimney" at the spinal column for ventilation. Anatomically contoured shoulder straps complement the foam strips, providing flexibility, comfort and precision fit. Ventilated pads in the back, shoulder straps and waistbelt help to keep you cool and comfortable on your adventures. Smooth fabric on the backpanels combats snow accumulation. Load-lifter straps and a sternum strap work in tandem with the shoulder and lumbar padding to effectively distribute weight throughout the pack, further ensuring stability and comfort.

A panel-loading packbag provides the EH Edge 25 with 1500 cubic inches of storage capacity. A unique back access panel allows snow-free entry to the pack without having to remove your skis.

The feature set found on the EH Edge 25 increases its alpine performance. Tool pockets are specifically-designed to accommodate probes and/or shovel handles and an internal pocket is ideal for skins or shovel blades. Multiple gear loops and attachment rings allow you to lash any and all kinds of gear to the outside of the EH Guide 30. Oversized straps are designed to carry skis of varying sizes and integrated compressions straps ensure that everything remains securely in place. Adding a measure of safety, the sternum strap buckle doubles as an emergency whistle. A plush, lined pocket is built to house goggles or sunglasses. An internal pocket and built-in tube exit point make the EH Edge 25 hydration compatible. Large, easy-to-use zipper pull tabs are built with gloved hands in mind.

Made of durable spun polyester, the EH Guide 25 has a unique Sandstone color scheme that harkens back to classic Deuter packs of the 1940’s.
