Product Highlights
Deuter's largest Aircontact trekking model, the Aircontact 75+10 combines Deuter's successful Aircontact and Vari-Quick systems with a brand-new anatomic X-frame system for increased flexibility and stability. A product of Deuter's German engineering and extensive field testing, the sturdy Aircontact 75+10 is ready-made for varied types of back country adventure.
With a standard capacity of 4600 cubic inches, increasing to 5200 cubic inches with the use of the extendible spindrift collar, the Aircontact 75+10 is spacious and versatile enough for multi-day excursions into the back country or alpine settings.
Built on the concept that it's easier to carry heavy loads when the backpack and wearer form a single entity, Deuter's Aircontact System relies on the compression and expansion of hydro and thermo-phobic Aircontact foam to provide ventilation and load-carrying comfort. A new anatomically-profiled X-frame system in the Aircontact 75+10 offers a balance of rigidity and flexibility, distributing weight more precisely. Further enhancing fit, Deuter's Vari-Quick harness system adjusts easily to accommodate varying torso lengths. A strongly-woven strap "ladder" in the back of the pack allows you to select the desired position for optimal comfort and load distribution. Soft, breathable fabrics and ventilated pads in the back, shoulder straps and hipbelt further help to keep you cool and comfortable on the trail. Side compression straps enable you to reduce and expand the size of the pack body as needed, further securing contents and ensuring stabilization of the load. In addition, head molding built into the back panel of the pack work in conjunction with the height-adjustable lid to provide a contoured space for head movement, combating the stiff, sore neck often associated with a long day on the trail.
A zippered divider between the Aircontact 75+10's top loading main compartment and front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unzip the divider and convert the Aircontact 75+10 to a single, large compartment. The main compartment also includes a lined and zippered internal pocket. Internal and external zippered pockets and an internal valuables pocket on the Aircontact 75+10's extendible lid and zippered side bellows pockets provide further storage options. A small zippered pocket on the hipbelt provides an additional place to stow valuables.
Other special features of the Aircontact 75+10 include twin ice axe loops, top lid attachment rings, a front daisy chain for lashing gear, and an integrated rain cover for protecting your pack against the elements. Two elastic side pockets allow for transportation of water bottles and a lined internal pocket, built-in tube exit points, and tube clip on the shoulder strap make the Aircontact 75+10 hydration compatible.
Made of a very fine, lightweight 150D Polytex fabric with a polyurethane coating and ripstop nylon, the Aircontact 75+10 has a Granite/Sapphire color scheme.
