Despite its lightweight design, the ACT Lite 60+10 SL Women’s pack enables female hikers to comfortably haul up to 45 pounds!

Designed to offer versatility for activities ranging from overnight hiking to lightweight, multi-day backpacking, the ACT Lite 60+10 SL Women’s pack has a standard capacity of 3650 cubic inches, increasing to 4250 cubic inches with the use of an integrated, extendible spindrift collar.

As women's backs are not, on average, as long as men's, the SL carry system is slightly shorter than that of Deuter's standard backpacks. The waistbelt has been given a more conical shape to provide a proper anatomical fit. The shoulder straps of the SL packs have been set closer together, are narrower and shorter in length, and have smaller buckles and narrower tapered strap ends to prevent chafing under the arms and eliminate pressure points in the chest area.

Built on the concept that it's easier to carry heavy loads when the backpack and wearer form a single entity, Deuter's Aircontact Lite System relies on the compression and expansion of hydro and thermo-phobic Aircontact foam to provide ventilation and load-carrying comfort. A continuous air channel along the spine of the ACT Lite 60+10 SL Women’s pack allows warm air to escape and permits cool air to funnel between your back and the body of the pack. Soft, breathable fabrics and ventilated pads in the back, shoulder straps and waistbelt further help to keep you cool and comfortable on the trail. An anatomically-profiled X-frame system in the ACT Lite 60+10 SL Women’s pack offers a balance of rigidity and flexibility, effectively distributing weight. Further enhancing fit, Deuter's Vari-Quick harness system adjusts easily to accommodate varying torso lengths. A strongly-woven strap "ladder" in the back of the pack allows you to select the desired position for optimal comfort and load distribution. Side compression straps enable you to reduce and expand the size of the pack body as needed, further securing contents and ensuring stabilization of the load.

A zippered divider between the top loading main compartment of the ACT Lite 60+10 SL Women’s pack and a front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unzip the divider and convert the ACT Lite 60+10 SL Women’s pack to a single, large compartment. Internal and external zippered pockets and an internal valuables pocket on the extendible lid of the ACT Lite 60+10 SL Women’s pack provide further storage options. A small zippered pocket on the waistbelt provides an additional place to stow valuables.

Other special features of the ACT Lite 60+10 SL Women’s pack include ice axe/trekking pole loops, top lid attachment rings and a front elastic cord attachment for lashing gear. Two elastic mesh side pockets allow for transportation of water bottles and a lined internal pocket, built-in tube exit point, and tube clip on the shoulder strap make the ACT Lite 60+10 SL Women’s pack hydration compatible.
