Likes: The evolution of humans has gone something like this: tool-making and using -> farming -> organized language -> writing -> science -> Darn Tough Socks. Believe it.

  • Marquam W. Augusta NJ

Likes: I've owned pairs of these socks now for 2-3 years and they are still in great shape! I wear them everyday to work underneath a pair of thin black dress socks and my feet are comfortable all day. for hiking they are simply the best. Feet don't sweat, socks never shift around, and they are incredibly durable. I walk around the house ALL DAY with just these socks on; outside on the driveway, grass, brick, whatever. Nothing wears these things down! And there's a lifetime guarantee.

Dislikes: I would love some really funky colors in the Cool-Max Full cushion boot spec.

  • Brian S. Glens Falls NY

    Dislikes: Pricey

Dislikes: Expensive - but worth the investment over the competition.

  • Lauran O. Lexington SC

Likes: Gift for my Mom, she raves about this brand. Been buying her and my dad these socks for a few years now. She had foot/toe surgery on both feet and finds these socks are simply the best all around in comfort, support, style, and temperature control. Can't beat the lifetime warranty either!

  • Eric M. Spartanburg SC

Likes: Everyone raves about the socks and I have to have the "cool" version as total wool socks heat me up. I'm old school and wear high top boots also. Size, fit and quality seem top. Feel good with boots but will really field test in March on the AT.

    Dislikes: nothing

Likes: These are the best socks I have ever owned. I wear them for everything; not just hiking. The cushion affect and moisture wicking they provide are awesome. Plus they are vegan!

    Dislikes: Nothing.

  • Marquam W. Augusta NJ

Likes: These are the best socks I have worn in my life! I bought them after trying to hike for five miles with plain cotton socks and my feet have never been happier. They don't slide around inside the shoe and bunch up. Give consistent cushioning throughout the day, even the high impacts spots (heel, ball, etc) felt just as supported and soft at the end of the day. The moisture wicking is all business as well, my feet didn't feel even remotely damp.

Dislikes: The charcoal color makes me look like I'm late for the shuffleboard tournament at the Senior Center, but I don't dress to look cool when I'm in the woods.

  • Jim A. Brentwood TN

  • Jason A. Southlake TX

Likes: Soft, supportive, breathable. Padded/reinforced in the right spots without clumping.

Dislikes: A bit thinner than I expected. This is more of a light-medium hybrid than a medium-weight sock.

  • Stephen B. Midlothian VA

Likes: Again, great socks! Worth the price.

    Dislikes: Absolutely nothing.

  • Stephen B. Midlothian VA

Likes: The most comfortable brand of socks I have ever worn. Comfort, moisture control, Made in USA, What's not to like?

Dislikes: More expensive than most socks, this distinction quickly disappears on the trail where their comfort becomes priceless.

    Dislikes: Nothing.

  • Zachary P. Gloversville NY

Likes: These socks are so awesome! Incredibly comfy and hug your foot like extra skin. I wear mine with my combat boots and they work great. I also hike in my issued combat boots. They keep your feet cool and dry and there thickness adds cushioning when your carrying serious loads.

Dislikes: There expensive but are worth it to avoid foot pain.

  • John M. Hickory KY

Likes: As I have come to expect with the Darn Tough brand, these socks fit my feet exceptionally well. No bunching or binding. Great workmanship.

Dislikes: These socks were purchased primarily for horseback riding. I have worn them on a 6-hour ride and several shorter rides. No adverse issues whatsoever. The socks do shrink a bit when washed, but I likely did not adhere strictly to the washing guidelines! However, that is part of the deal. I am NOT going to wash socks separately. Either they work along with other clothes, or they don't.

  • eric s. webster TX
