Likes: Darn Tough makes the best socks I've ever worn. I usually buy $5 clearance socks, but have no problem spending $20 on these. I have two pairs that have endured four years of heavy use without issue, and just picked up two more. The cushioning in these socks is AMAZING! They keep my feet and ankles very comfy, even after ten hours in mountaineering boots. As a bonus, they're made in the US.

Dislikes: I have absolutely no complaints about these socks except that I don't own enough of them.

Likes: I purchased my first pair of DarnTough brand socks at a local dealer over a year ago to replace my (worn a hole through) SmartWool's, these have out lasted the SmartWool's (easily) and seem to be made to a much higher standard. I wear them almost everyday (I rotate 3 pairs a week) and they feel/work great! They are well worth the price. IMO - you can buy SmartWool's twice a year or one pair of DarnTough's once every two.

Dislikes: They do get thinner over time and loose the cushion, almost two full years now and my original pair still has no holes and is evenly worn - a bit thinner than it was new but still lots of wear left. I guess the con is they don't last forever.
