In the world of modern travel, keeping weight to a minimum is a must. At the same time, a trekking pack still needs to carry comfortably. The Sapa Trek employs a well-cushioned z-foam backpanel, a PE framesheet and high-tenacity 210D ripstop nylon fabric to weigh in at just 3.5 pounds. You can even remove the framesheet to reduce weight to just 2 pounds, 5 ounces. Contoured padding in the shoulder straps and hipbelt offers additional comfort and aids in both fit and load control. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enable you to fine-tune fit.
The Sapa Trek’s 3356 cubic inch-capacity packbag is accessed through a unique tri-zip opening that makes it convenient to load and unload. Internal and external compression straps ensure that contents remain securely in place. Internal pocketing aids in organization and the top panel of the internal compression system can be removed for use as a toiletry kit. The top lid even encloses a waterproof storage pocket to further protect valuables. Large, zippered hipbelt pockets keep essentials close at hand.
