Product Highlights

Reflecting the Boreas commitment to simplicity and functionality, the award-winning Lost Coast 60 internal frame backpack is streamlined, lightweight and versatile. The lidded, top-loading pack weighs less than 3.5 pounds and can be reduced to less than 3 pounds by removing the lid and/or the framesheet.

A well-cushioned z-foam backpanel and die-cut PE framesheet work in tandem to provide lightweight and ventilated support and stability. When you prefer to travel light, the framesheet can be easily removed with a quick pull on its integrated easy-access handle. Contoured padding in the shoulder straps and hipbelt offers additional comfort and aids in both fit and load control. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enable you to fine-tune fit. To ensure that you experience a proper fit, the Lost Coast 60 is available in Small (fits torso lengths from 16"-18"), Medium (18"-20"), and Large (greater than 20") torso sizes.

The Lost Coast 60’s main, top-loading, compartment is accessed beneath a lid that also provides zippered, secure storage. To shave weight, you can remove the top lid entirely. A cinch-down closure in the top of the packbag protects contents when the lid is removed. A large front stretch-fabric pocket serves as a "stuff it" storage option and keeps extra layers in easy reach. Stretch-fabric side pockets are ideal for water bottles and other gear. Large, zippered hipbelt pockets keep essentials close at hand.

Other features include tuck-away daisy chain attachment points, hidden gear loops on the shoulder straps and an included rain cover. A lined internal sleeve makes the Lost Coast 60 hydration system (sold separately) compatible.

The Boreas Lost Coast 60 internal frame backpack is available in your choice of size and color.

Styles available: Large Farallon Black, Large Marina Blue, Large Truckee Green, Medium Farallon Black, Medium Marina Blue, Medium Truckee Green

Likes: Succinct pack. Has everything I need and nothing I don't. Comfy, well-made top-loader with side and front stretchy mesh pockets and lots of hood storage. Clean lines and hide away daisy chain loops keep you tangle free. Suspension system adjusts easily and delivers weight right to the hips.

    Dislikes: Nothing yet.

Likes: Its my first backpacking pack, so I'm not an expert - but this thing was pretty great. Very comfortably carried a bulky load of ~26 lbs for my first backpacking trip. My back and shoulders stayed cool, no heat rash. I went with this instead of a the buttermilks as I wanted a lid and I'm glad I did. The included raincover was great for storing the pack outside of our tent.

    Dislikes: Nothing yet, works great!
