Reflecting the Boreas commitment to simplicity and functionality, the award-winning Lost Coast 60 internal frame backpack is streamlined, lightweight and versatile. The lidded, top-loading pack weighs just 3 pounds, 7 ounces and can be reduced to less than 3 pounds by removing the lid and/or the framesheet.
A well-cushioned z-foam backpanel and die-cut PE framesheet work in tandem to provide lightweight and ventilated support and stability. When you prefer to travel light, the framesheet can be easily removed with a quick pull on its integrated easy-access handle. Contoured padding in the shoulder straps and hipbelt offers additional comfort and aids in both fit and load control. A sliding sternum strap and load-lifter straps further enable you to fine-tune fit. To ensure that you experience a proper fit, the Lost Coast 60 is available in Medium (fits torso lengths from 18”-20” in length) and Large (greater than 20”) torso sizes.
The Lost Coast 60’s main, top-loading, 3600 cubic inch-capacity compartment is accessed beneath a lid that also provides zippered, secure storage. To shave weight, you can remove the top lid entirely. A cinch-down closure in the top of the packbag protects contents when the lid is removed. A large front stretch-fabric pocket serves as a “stuff it” storage option and keeps extra layers in easy reach. Stretch-fabric side pockets are ideal for water bottles and other gear. Large, zippered hipbelt pockets keep essentials close at hand.
Other features include tuck-away daisy chain attachment points, hidden gear loops on the shoulder straps and an included rain cover. A lined internal sleeve makes the Lost Coast 60 hydration system (sold separately) compatible.
